OOC: TLV Magic Permissions
Given he's the asshole he is, Loki is likely to have his magic turned on and off repeatedly. I'll do my best to remember to update the current status of his magic on this post.
AS OF 9/20 LOKI'S MAGIC IS CURRENTLY: ON
Loki's magic is...pretty ill-defined in the movies, but I've done the best I can to summarize the things you canonically see him do (without the aid of Infinity Stones). Please let me know if any of them are things that 1) make you uncomfortable 100% of the time or 2) you think your character might be able to counteract or see through in some way. I've reduced some of the descriptions here down from what appear in his application, so check there for more info or feel free to ask me!
-Insubstantial illusions, usually doubles of himself. It is unclear how long he can maintain them, but in canon they are completely convincing until touched. It appears he's capable of projecting at least images of himself over quite long distances.
-Invisibility, including hiding his and others' movements from magical surveillance.
-Change his and others' appearances. This does not, in canon, appear to be only an illusion when it comes to his own appearance. Thor grabs him when he is disguised as Odin and this does not reveal the illusion in and of itself. This is why his username is shiftedshape-- it appears he is doing some kind of shapeshifting on himself. As for others, I think it's more like casting a glamor on them, and therefore they are more easily disrupted as it's more like a hologram over their person.
-Some kind of telekinetic magic. He uses this infrequently enough that I do not think it is very strong or precise.
-Ability to alter the minds of others using some kind of spell. Odin says Loki used a spell to make him forget who he is on Earth, and that this was an impressive bit of magic. Because it's specifically referred to as a spell, I am assuming it is something that takes preparation and effort.
-Can draw out memories, making people relive them and seeing them himself.

Please list any kinds of magic your character would resist/see through/disrupt/etc. and why:
- I can probably handwave inexact enough awareness that it wouldn't break his flow on-barge, but she'd probably be tipped off re: invisibility if they're in a less concentrated environment ('this port is uninhabited and we fanned out why does it feel like this place isn't empty'), or if he's injured while doing it.
- The above also applies to doubles, but entirely dependent on distance + proximity to others. As long as he isn't a state's distance away and there's any chunk of Bargizens in the area it won't tip her off. (Although on a soul note, if he tries disguising, say, Gortys as Bill, she's gonna notice the lack of YIKES going on in there. For fun's sake I'm gonna say it has to be a pretty big leap like that, otherwise we're good.)
- She notably DOES NOT have any developed ability to eject someone from her head at present, but is familiar with the feeling so if he charges in pulling memory cabinets open she can't stop him, but she can recognize someone's fucking around where they ought not be
Is there anything else about your character I should know with regards to how Loki might use magic around them?: Not anything immediately creeping to mind! Little by way of preexisting magical conditions, no special immunities.

Please list any kinds of magic your character would resist/see through/disrupt/etc. and why: I've had Bill as part of his role as All-Seeing Eye be able to see through invisibility before but tbh I will probably just do whatever the plot requires for this.

Please list any kinds of magic your character would resist/see through/disrupt/etc. and why: Zhao Yunlan is shown to be resistant to mind-manipulating magic in canon! It's not immunity, and he can be affected, but he shakes it off more easily than others.
Is there anything else about your character I should know with regards to how Loki might use magic around them?: He has some weird energy bullshit going on involving ancient alien artifacts, but has no actual powers or ability to use magic/energy of his own, and his energy thing shouldn't affect magic that's perceptual or mind/memory related. That said, physical effects of magic on his body might run into some weirdness, so if Loki were to try any complex spells on him we should talk it out!

Please list any kinds of magic your character would resist/see through/disrupt/etc. and why: Iris is a telepath and a time lord. I'd like to say that she'd at least get a saving throw against anything meant to control her mind or memories. All the other magic is fine.

Possibly see through illusions/invisibility due to enhanced senses (ie, he might know the body double isn't real as it looks the expected pulse, and might pinpoint the invisible form via hearing or scent).
Maybe resist the altering mind or drawing out memories thing. In his canon, vampires are immune to all forms of telepathy from the fae (no brainwaves, etc).
All the possibles/maybes aside, we're talking God-tier magic vs baby vampire barely a year old, and with reduced Barge abilities at that, so. I'm happy to bend ~the rules~ a bit for plot reasons.
Is there anything else about your character I should know with regards to how Loki might use magic around them?: Likely very soon, Steve will have full use of his abilities (super speed, strength, glamour)... but only in Nadja's cabin. I'm not sayin' they should duel or anything... but they totally should have a magic-off. :P

Please list any kinds of magic your character would resist/see through/disrupt/etc. and why: He's got nothin' but a tiny bit of remaining serum strength/healing for the metal arm, as an inmate, but if the rest is ever returned it's possible unless Loki is also stealthing his body's sound and smell, he could tell someone is in the room with him even though he can't see him.

Please list any kinds of magic your character would resist/see through/disrupt/etc. and why: Cal is likely to be able to sense illusions or appearance altering things via the Force, and will have some amount of resistance to psychic suggestion or mind manipulation. Michael might also be able to see something off about an illusion or invisibility because he can see in nine dimensions, and honestly I don't know what would happen if someone tried psychically attacking him because it never comes up in his canon, but he's a 6,000 foot tall fire squid with a lot of teeth in a person suit, so it's certainly possible there'd be some kind of bad interaction there.

Demona has a couple of curses on her already. One of them makes her change form between human and gargoyle. Human by day, gargoyle by night. I don't know if that will interfere with him, but it is good for him to know if he plans to mimic her.

Please list any kinds of magic your character would resist/see through/disrupt/etc. and why: Steve's a pretty run-of-the-mill human when it comes to magical perception, I assume. He can obviously be fooled by illusions, etc., but he is very observant and does have decent super senses, so if something like someone's actions, scent, or voice were to be off, he'd notice at least something, I figure?
Is there anything else about your character I should know with regards to how Loki might use magic around them?: Probably the very least-helpful comment you're going to get, but I figure you're just as familiar with the canon as I am. Feel free to use whatever you do know, but also just ask me if you want me to go into more detail on anything for you! o/

Please list any kinds of magic your character would resist/see through/disrupt/etc. and why: Cloud has no particular ability to resist magic on his own, but he uses materia, some of which might mean he can reverse or resist certain effects. I've got a list of the materia he has at the bottom of this post in case that ever becomes relevant.
Is there anything else about your character I should know with regards to how Loki might use magic around them?: uhhhhhh he has a lot of traumatic memories, so Content Warning on drawing those out

MIMICRY: Suuure but be careful. Cloud has a lot of experience with hallucinations and delusions, some benign and some very much not, and if he's not sure what's going on he's likely to think that he's having some sort of psychotic break and become immensely distressed. There's a chance he may attack you, and Cloud attacking you is not a joke. If you're cool with that then go for it, live your best life. (If he's aware of what's happening he'll just be annoyed and slightly disturbed, it's specifically surprising him with any kind of doppelganger effect that's a bad idea.)
