Eliminating half of all life is not balance. That is a sloppy, half-baked assumption if there ever was one.

The Counter Force is hardly my favorite entity, but what it does isn’t the same as that.

I did wonder why he didn't think to create rather than destroy. Perhaps he started with such a strong desire for revenge of some sort that he forgot that was an option.

Vengeance isn’t always the motivating factor for destructive behavior.

I knew a man who believed humanity had become too populous, and his solution was to cull the herd, so to speak.

It had nothing whatsoever to do with revenge; only an astonishing amount of hubris.

His home planet was destroyed. It seems a likely starting point, at the very least.
