I had to drag him over, actually. He was distracted getting "gifts" for his former warden.
Personally, I think I'm starting to get used to this place. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not.

I'd vote "good thing." Sure, you might not want to be a
permanent
resident, but settling in still helps you deal while you are here!
Even if some of these stops are easier to deal with than others.
