My other self had his advantages, starting out. And yet he still ended up in prison. It's as if that's a constant for me, even when I didn't commit the crime.

...Can't say it's happened to me often but then breaches aren't as frequent as floods. I know some of the people I became in breaches knew other people that other people became, at least professionally.

I mean in one of the previous breaches, the person I became for a while had professional ties to the others. Colleagues at the place of learning he once taught at. People seeking him for financing on expeditions.
[He's...kind of surprised. It does speak to there being some greater plan with these events. The Grandmaster wouldn't learn much just continuing to have orgies all the time, after all.
Loki doesn't know what to make of the idea that his entanglement on the train was more...if not romantic, certainly intimate. He still feels lingering affection he can't seem to shake, though from what he's heard at this point it sounds like that fades more than the memories themselves do.

Well, there was a curse here about six months ago or so, where people kissed if they stood under this herb hanging in doorways. Kissed a lot of pretty people.
But lovers? Disappointingly, no.
[ He tends to read fairly well and nobody's given him that kind of energy, and he's not the sort to doggedly pursue; if they want him, they tend not to play hard to get because the Grandmaster is not one to chase. Running is boring when he's the one doing it. ]
